the family is coming over on june 18th! yay!
i’ve been really busy adjusting the budget.
also looking for replacement a/c cord for my laptop. i seem to have mistreated mine and it’s failing pretty quickly… grrr. you’d think getting a replacement part for a new laptop wouldn’t be hard. you’d think wrongly then, as did i. (and no, the damage is not covered by warranty)

If at all possible, would you be able to fly into “City Airport”? It’s more than 1/2 the distance to my part of town.
I’ve attached a cartoon map with some distances on it.
Continental may not fly into the airport, or it may be more expensive to switch, but it’s a thought. I found some companies that will drive a “people carrier” (i.e. a van) from Gatwick to East London for about 70 – 100 GBP.
